Which one is more important at the university education, basic study or real business study? Well, I have been thinking that the university should focus on more real business study because many studies at the university are useless. However, I know that basic study is important, too. So, maybe there are no right answers. We should find our own answers by ourselves. In my opinion, we can learn and we can study anytime we want. Even 80 years old people can learn and I think such old people should study more and more and more. For example, too few old people can use PCs. Using PCs is extremely easy for young people. I cannot believe why some many old people cannot use PCs. My father graduated from one of the best private universities in Japan (Keio University). However, he could not use his PC well. He did not have intention to learn about PCs. I really hate such old people. We can learn and we can study anytime we want. If people want to learn, that is the right time for them to learn. They do not have to be 18 years old. 80 years old people can learn at the university.

2013年3月3日（日）付けのぶろぐ「東大の大罪」で、大学のじゅぎょーは座学がかたよりすぎていると書きましたが、「MITが「学部では最先端なんて教えない」理由」というこらむで、MITでは実学を教えていないということが書かれていました。それではちょっちいんよー致します。

「上田：日本ではここ20数年、大学はより「実学志向」になるべきだ、という声が大きかった。その「お手本」にアメリカの大学の名が出ることも少なくありませんでした。

　ところが、当のアメリカの大学では、むしろまったく逆でした。一見「実学」的な先端科学の知識こそすぐに実社会で役に立たなくなる。自らの考え、自らの知のベースになった「教養」を豊かに学んだ方がはるかに役に立つんだ、という明確な教育方針を持っていたのです。」

なるほど、たしかにそのとーり。数学も物理学も、基礎は何百年たとーがかわらないっすからね。ただし、そーいった基礎に加えて、やっぱりある程度の応用もいれていくひつよーはあるかと思います。また、前にも書きましたが、やっぱりえーごは相当実学重視でOKでしょう。とゆーか、えーごの古典のべんきょーがひつよーながくせーなんてあんまいないとおもーしね。本当に優秀ながくせーだったら、古典だろーが実学だろーが、どっちをべんきょーしよーが最終的にはえーごをものにしてしまうのでしょーが、ふつー以下のがくせーには、ぜひとも実学じゅーしで、とにかく片言でいいから通じる英会話と、めーるがかけるくらいの作文ができればいーと思います。それだけでものすごく違うと思いますね。
