「彼はすべての従業員に勝って欲しいと思っています。たとえそれを達成する手段が、彼らを組織から追い出すことであったとしても。」

組織から追い出すというのはあんましいいひょうげんじゃないっすね。ようは、従業員にとって、この会社にとどまることがいいことではない場合は、こころよく送り出すといったところでしょうか。元日本シティバンク社長の八城政基さんは新入社員に向かって「いつまでもこの会社にいなくていい」といったそうな。自分の会社の新入社員にこんなことを言うなんて、普通であればおかしいと思う人がほとんではないかと思います。しかし、これこそが本当に社員を大事にする会社の姿勢ではないでしょうか？社員の中には社風に合わない人だっているでしょう。そいういう人を、会社に引き止めるよりはもっとその人に合った会社で活躍してもらった方がその人のためでもあるし、会社のためでもあるというものです。会社なんて、結局は働いてみなければ中身なんてわかりっこありません。いくらOB、OG訪問を重ねたって、いくら企業研究をしたって、わからんと思いますよ、ほんま。あと、この考えかたは結構日本的ですよね。終身雇用が常識だった日本の、一度雇ったら最後まで面倒を見るという考え方に近いように思います。一時期GEの、下から１０％を毎年切り捨てるというやり方が脚光を浴びたことがありましたが、長い目で見た場合、この方法はあまりいい方法だとは思えませんね。最近じゃあこの方法に関する話題をほとんどまったく聞かなくなりましたし。企業経営者には、流行の経営にとらわれず、時代を超えて通用する真理はなにかということをぜひとも追い求めていただきたいものです。

「彼らの経営は強い倫理価値感があるように思えました。そして私が発見することのできたすべてのものから、彼らは彼らが説教したことを実践していました。私は仕事のオファーを受けました。」

このほんの話は、ある人が会社の倫理について疑問をもち、なんとか会社を変えようとしたけれども限界を感じ、この会社を去る決意をして、ほかの会社への転職活動をして、今、その理想の会社を見つけた、ということっす。はっきしいって、こんなことはありえんね。＾＾ありえんというのは、自分の理想の転職先を見つけること、です。上記でも書きましたが、ちょっと面接したくらいでは、ちょっと会社の中をのぞいたくらいでは、その会社がどんな会社かなんてわかりっこありません。もちろんある程度はわかるでしょうが、ま、わからんと思いますね。このほんの話はあくまで寓話なんで、ありえない話をでっちあげて書いているので、はっぴーえんどなどお手のものというわけです。1988年に書かれたふるいほんなんで、まだ当時はこんなほんでも受け入れられたのでしょう。会社での意思決定においての倫理観の重要性については、このほんに書かれているとおり、非常に重要だと思うし、この主人公がとった決断は正しいと思います。ですので、あくまで倫理観に関するビジネス書として読むべきでしょう。このほんを読んで、「自分の会社には倫理観のかけらもねえ！俺も転職するぞ！＾＾」などとは思わない方がいいでしょう。現代においては、このほんのような結末をビジネス書で書くなどということは、まあ、ありえんでしょうな。いけいけどんどんの1988年代だからこそこの結論でもおっけーだったのでしょう。

I enjoyed watching a Japanese animation “Ano Hana” very much yesterday. I really thought that I am alive because I enjoy watching Japanese animations!!!(^^)(^^)(^^) I know totally I am an OTAKU.^^ Maybe I should find a job that is related to Japanese animations. Hahaha…^^; Actually, I was thinking so when I was a high school student. However, as you may know that not all people who are interested in video games can became a professional game programmer. I did not think that I had a talent about drawing a picture or writing a novel. But I was wondering which major I should take when I try to have an entrance exam for the university. In the U.S., students can determine their majors after entering the university. However, in Japan students need to determine their major when they take the entrance exam for the university. For example, I chose the engineering, so the contents of entrance exam are mathematics, physics, and English. If a student chooses literature major, he/she would have to take Japanese linguistics, history, and English. I was wondering if I should choose the engineering or philosophy. Both majors are completely different and entrance exam subjects are completely different. At that time, I was thinking that I do not have a talent about literature and I was more realistic, so I chose the engineering. Now I am wondering if that choice was correct or not. Anyway, I can live only one life. I cannot take both the engineering and philosophy. I will choose Japanese animation major!!!!(^^)(^^)(^^)(^^) (<- I was broken…)
